If you are running AVAST!Antivirus or Symantec/Norton Antivirus, you must do the following:***
1. Uninstall the Contour Shuttle driver if it is installed
2. Uninstall Antivirus software
3. Install the Contour Shuttle driver
4. Reinstall Antivirus software.

Q: Since I installed the Shuttle beta driver for Windows Vista, Windows 7 & 8, the Windows hibernation feature does not work properly. Is there a fix for that? A: There is an incompatibility with our Shuttle hardware and Windows Vista, 7 and 8 which causes hibernation issues. Unfortunately it cannot be remedied with an update to the driver. Mouse Drivers NOTE! Apple has released the newest version of macOS, Big Sur. Currently, our drivers are not compatible with Big Sur. We are working on an updated version of our drivers to be available either when the operating system is officially released, or shortly afterward. At this time, we strongly recommend customers refrain from. The Shuttle driver for macOS Big Sur is currently in beta testing and available for download here. Q: Where can I get drivers for my ShuttlePRO v1 (the silver one with 13 buttons)?
A: The drivers for the ShuttlePRO v2 will work for the v1 as well. You can download from our Shuttle Downloads section here on the forum.
Q: What computer systems does the Shuttle work with?
A: Apple Computer with a G3, G4, G5, or Intel processor running Mac OS 8.6 through 9.x or OS 10.1 to 10.10. Windows Compatible PC running Windows 98, 98SE, Me, 2000, XP, Vista, Windows 7 & Windows 8.

A: There is an incompatibility with our Shuttle hardware and Windows Vista, 7 and 8 which causes hibernation issues. Unfortunately it cannot be remedied with an update to the driver. We have changed manufacturers and there is a new version of the Shuttle Pro v2 that has been released which will resolves this issue. In the mean time, many users are simply unplugging the Shuttle from USB in order to get Windows to hibernate properly.
Q: I wanted to buy some more Shuttles because they are so wonderful, and noticed they are not available on my favorite retailer's webpage. Does this mean Contour Design is no longer making the ShuttlePRO and ShuttleXpress?
A: The Shuttles are getting a packaging update (and we have changed manufacturers) and should be available in now on the Contour Design website and from your favorite retailer.
Q: Where can I get the User Guide for the ShuttlePRO or ShuttleXpress?

Q: I lost some of the button covers from my ShuttlePRO v2. Can I order new ones?
A: You call or email Contour Design, and they will be happy to send out some button covers to you provided your Shuttle is made in China and not Taiwan. Please email us for more info.
Q: Are the ShuttlePRO v2's and ShuttleXpresses now available in silver?
A: Yes! You now have a choice of classic black or the new silver for both models of Shuttle.
Q: Where can I download that sheet of blank button cover labels for my ShuttlePRO?
A: You can download from our Shuttle Downloads section here on the forum.
Q: Can I use my Shuttle with a powered USB hub?
A: Contour Design suggests you do not use your Shuttle with any powered USB hub which includes USB ports which are built in to a monitor. There are a couple reasons for this. The first is that the Shuttle software seems to work better with Shuttles that are plugged directly into the PC. The second is USB ports capable of outputting more power than (beyond what USB specifies) mixed with a surge upon startup that is not properly handled may damage the unit in some cases.
Q: I want to use the Shuttle with software I am developing, but don't want to use the Shuttle Control Panel/Device Configuration. Is there a software development kit for the Shuttle?
A: Yes, please email us your information. We will send you a short questionnaire, and when it is returned to us we will send you the SDK.
